Payment Methods for Degree Programmes

  1. Payment at Finance Office – Cashier Counter

Payment methods: Cash (MOP only) / Electronic payment (See Note a) / Credit card(Visa/Master) / Unionpay card / Crossed-cheque and Cashier order (Crossed cheques or cashier orders should be made payable to "Universidade Politécnica de Macau").

Note a: Electronic payment methods (Please contact E-payment suppliers for transaction limits): BOC Pay / ICBC e-Payment / UnionPay “Quick Pass” / UnionPay App / Tai Fung Pay / CGB MACAU App / Luso Pay / UePay / MPay/ WeChat Pay (available to Mainland residents) / Alipay (Macao) and Alipay (available to Mainland and Hong Kong residents).

  1. Online Payment by SIWeb

Online payment by credit cards (Visa/Master) or UnionPay Online Payment (See Note b): Current students can sign in to “Student Information Web” (Undergraduate > SIWeb > Login > ePayment) to settle their tuition fees within the payment period.

Note b: The following UnionPay cards are acceptable: 1. UnionPay Credit card or Debit card issued in China. 2. UnionPay Credit card issued in Macao or Hong Kong.

Note:
  1. Crossed cheques or cashier orders should be made payable to the “Universidade Politécnica de Macau“.
  2. Banks may not accept other banks’ cheques or cashier orders on the last payment date. Please be aware of related bank regulations.
  3. This service is only available to Mainland China ICBC account holders, who can make payment through “ICBC e-Payment” online by selecting “Cross-border Payment“. Payment should be made within payment period (while the cut-off time is 18:00 on the due date), otherwise, it will be considered late payment. Please refer to “Mobile banking” or “Online Banking” for cross-border e-payment process.
  4. If you choose ATM to settle the payment, please check “ATM Coded Merchant Payment Screen Flow for UPM”.
  5. The payment cut-off time for mobile banking and online banking depends on the rules of individual banks, so it is not advised to make an online payment in the evening of the payment due date.  If the “Online Banking Service” is suspended or if one cannot pay successfully after the cut-off time, this will be considered as late payment.

  1. Payment by Telegraphic Transfer

In case of payment by Telegraphic Transfer, all related bank charges should be borne by remitters. For further information, please refer to“Telegraphic Transfer - Payment Method for Bachelor Degree and Higher Diploma Programmes.
