1. Online application system will be open till 17:30 of 28/6/2019. For details about the application, please refer to "Eligibility" and "Application Procedures".

2. The arrangements of the specialised written exams (Chinese & English Paper) and interviews will be announced on the MPI website.

Remarks: For interested candidates who have completed the online application before (have applied for our Bachelor Degree Programme(s) in 2019/2020), please submit a written request to the MPI Registry (Venue: Rm.A107, G/F, Chi Un Building) during the application period.


To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Therapy programme, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Macao resident; and
  • Having completed six years of secondary education and fulfilled the requirements for graduation. *
This requirement will be waived for applicants aged 23 or above.

Remarks: Upon completion of the steps stated above, your application will have been successfully lodged. 
Exams and Arrangements

Candidates are required to attend the specialised written exams (Chinese & English Paper) and interviews organised by the Macao Polytechnic Institute.

Candidates selected for an admission interview for entry to the Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Therapy programme are required to bring along the following items to the interview:

  • Valid Macao SAR Resident Identity Card;
  • Originals and copies of academic reports for Senior 1-3 / Form 4-6 / Grades 10-12;
  • Personal portfolio (please include the following items):
    • Basic information (candidate's name, date of birth, ID no. and secondary school being attended);
    • Personal statement (your short bio and personal history statement; 500 words maximum);
    • Statement of purpose/study plan (including reasons for applying to this programme; 500 words maximum);
    • Certifications of competitions/achievements (please list out achievements and attach copies of certificates or documents);
    • Proof of community services (please list out the activities and attach copies of certificates or documents);
    • Results of English proficiency test(s) (please attach copies of certificates);
    • Other documents to support your application (please provide copies of these documents if any).

Offer and Admission Process

The selection of qualified applications for admission is based on the applicant’s choice of programme, admission quota of the programme concerned, documents submitted by the applicant and his/her performance in the admission examination.

Offer results will be released on【Candidate Portal】only. We do not notify admission decisions by email or by any other means.

Applicants who wish to appeal their offer results should submit a written appeal to the Registry within 3 working days after the results are released. Late applications will not be entertained.

Applicants with an admission offer should download the offer letter and other relevant documents from the 【Candidate Portal】and complete the admission procedures according to the instructions as stated.
