Overview
  1. This scheme is targeted at Macao residents applying to the following programmes:
    • Bachelor of Business Administration in Gaming and Recreation Management
    • Bachelor of Arts in Chinese-English Translation and Interpretation
    • Bachelor of Arts in Design
    • Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art (Fine Arts/ Art Education)
    • Bachelor of Science in Computing
  2. Candidates applying for admission under this scheme will be exempted from written exams and will stand a chance of gaining early admission after passing an interview.
Requirements
  1. To be qualified for consideration under this admission scheme, candidates must fulfill one of the following:
  2. Having completed six years of secondary education and fulfilled the requirements for graduation; or
  3. Currently attending the third year of senior high school or equivalent
  4. The above requirements will be waived for those aged 25 or above who are applying for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration in Gaming and Recreation Management.
Eligibility
Candidates may apply for entry via the admission scheme for local talents and professionals if they fulfil the following criteria:
Programme Criteria
Bachelor of Business Administration in Gaming and Recreation Management
  • Recommended by the gaming enterprise/company they currently serve, and
  • Have at least one year of working experience in the gaming industry
Bachelor of Arts in Chinese-English Translation and Interpretation
  • Having won the first, second or third prize (Senior High School Category) in the Macao-wide English Speech Contest organised by MPI
Bachelor of Arts in Design
  • Having completed the summer or short courses offered by MPI in Visual Arts or Design, or
  • Being award-winners of local or overseas competitions in art or design
Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art (Fine Arts/ Art Education)
Bachelor of Science in Computing
  • Having won any award in the Macao-wide IT Competition (Senior High or Open category)
Application Procedures
  1. Fill out application during the application period at ipm.mo/admission【Online application
  2. Pay application fee *
  3. Complete the registration at MPI's Registry in person within the application period by bringing: a printout of the admission application form submitted online, ID document(s), a recent photo and testimonial(s) that verify their eligibility**
  4. Application completed

Offer and admission process
Offer results will be released on MPI’s 【candidate portal】only. We do not notify admission decisions by email or by any other means.   Applications who wish to appeal their offer results should submit a written appeal to the Registry within 3 working days after the results are released. Late applications will not be entertained. Applications with an admission offer should download the offer letter and other relevant documents from the 【candidate portal】in late May and complete the admission procedures according to the instructions as stated.
