With the development of society, the demand for professional talents in the health industry has steadily increased. To meet the needs, the Centre for Continuing Education of the Macao Polytechnic University will launch the second “Nursing Assistant Training Course” this year to provide systematic training for those who are interested in joining the healthcare profession. The course has received support from the Health Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and now opens for application until 28 February 2024.

The “Nursing Assistant Training Course” covers training for professional knowledge and skills in biology and basic life sciences, health and medical nursing concepts, nursing practices and principles, specialist nursing concepts and practices, medical nursing behaviour and sociology, and information technology in the medical field, etc. In addition, it includes the cultivation of personal and professional talents such as communication skills, quality and safety, and so on.  The course can help improve the professional knowledge and skills of healthcare workers and is suitable for those who work in healthcare organisations and institutions, or for Macao residents who are interested in joining the related industries.
