In order to support the moderate economic diversification in Macao and respond to the needs for continuing education for professionals engaged in human resource management, as well as the need to strengthen talent management knowledge and practical skills for managers of various industries, the Centre for Continuing Education of Macao Polytechnic University has previously launched relevant courses which attracted many applications. The centre will offer an additional course on "Human Resource Management and Planning" in September 2023. The course will cover the knowledge and practice of human resource planning and performance management, among other topics, with 20 hours of class time.  The course is open to applications now, and will close when the quota is full.

Other courses currently accepting applications include “Social Work Skills for Working with Groups”; the course has been recognised by the Macao Social Workers Professional Committee for Social Workers as continuing education activity for registered social workers in Macao.  In addition, the centre has launched two new courses, namely “Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Care and Pain Management” and “Comprehensive Conditioning and Applying with Traditional Chinese Medicine”, which are taught by registered Chinese medicine practitioners. These courses are suitable for those interested in Chinese medicine health care and chronic pain self-relief, or those who are interested in learning traditional acupoints, traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions, and health-preserving diets. The courses introduce health care methods from the perspectives of modern science and traditional Chinese medicine, aiming to provide the latest information and inspirational ideas.
