Portuguese Poetry Recitation Contest for Higher Education Institutes in China

The Poetry Recitation Contest for Higher Education Institutes in China aimed to promote Portuguese literature and culture, encourage and publicize the reading atmosphere, and showcase the talents of Portuguese-speaking students. Higher institutes from Macao and Mainland China were invited to participate in the contest, which was unanimously praised by participating teachers and students.  The recitation competition has strengthened the exchanges between Portuguese-speaking students in the Greater Bay Area and other parts of China, further promoted the development of Portuguese-language teaching in China, and fully demonstrated that the advantage of Macao as the core city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a service platform for business cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
