Social, Economic and Public Policy Research Centre
The Social, Economic and Public Policy Research Centre, under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Macao Polytechnic University, is established in June 2007, united by The Centre of Social Economic Research and The Centre of Research and Planning of Human Resources. Its main research deals with the government and public policy of Macao, the development of Macao’s economy and society.
Through the study on the theory and the practice of Macao's economy, society and policy, the centre has the following mission objectives:
- to pursue academic excellence through the studies of Macao’s social and economic problems;
- to strengthen academic development and to enhance teaching quality;
- to provide consultancy service for MSAR Government;
- to promote and assist in Macao’s economic and social development
