Introduction：

Introducing audiences to Gongbi painting is the objective of our exhibition. To make that clear to our audiences, we gave this exhibition a name that literally means ‘people unfamiliar to ink’, pronounced ‘Muk Sang Yun’ in Cantonese, which has exactly the same pronunciation as ‘strangers’ in the language. The exhibition includes the process of painting and the tools we use, and works from year 3 and 4, which is majorly based on the style of Gongbi portrait paintings.
