  • Chinese-Portuguese Translation and Interpreting (Master's Degree) 

 

Karen Bennett holds an MA and PhD in Translation Studies and is currently an Associate Professor at Nova University, Lisbon. She is also the Coordinator of the Master's programme in Translation at the university. Additionally, she oversees the translation-related research projects at the Centre for English, Translation, and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS).

She serves as the editor-in-chief of Translation Matters and is a member of the editorial board for the Brill series Approaches to Translation Studies. Her research interests encompass various areas such as the history of translation, translation theories, interlingual translation and multimodality, and methods of constructing and translating knowledge.
