Macao Polytechnic Institute held a Christmas event to send festive blessings to students
To build a harmonious campus atmosphere and send festive blessings to students, the Student Affairs Office of Macau Polytechnic Institute (MPI) recently held the “2021 Merry Christmas” activity to help students relax their minds and bodies with fun activities and group games, while spreading mutual encouragement amongst each other. The activity attracted students from different countries, regions and courses. Everyone shared the Christmas customs of different places with each other, promoting exchanges between students, and the atmosphere was really pleasant.
Ms Wo, a doctoral student in Computer Applied Technology, said that the activity gathered students from different countries and regions to share the experience of the past year, and it made the winter feel warm and friendly. She also said that sharing traditional Portuguese delicacies with her classmates and exchanging well-prepared gifts with each other was full of festive joy and helped to relief the stress caused by the recent exams. Laidinha, an international student from Cape Verde and majoring in Bachelor of Arts in International Chinese Language Education, expressed her gratitude to the Student Affairs Office for organising this event, which allowed her to meet students from different countries and spend an unforgettable and pleasant festival in a foreign country.
