MPI International and Exchange Students Celebrated Christmas
As Christmas is approaching, the Student Affairs Office of the Macao Polytechnic Institute held a Christmas Party for all its international and exchange students on 2 December, so as to ease their homesickness. Students exchanged gifts, shared their special home dishes, and played games at the party, through which everybody got to know each other more.
The participants have come to MPI from Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, etc. It was the first time for many of them to spend Christmas in Macao. Therefore, they started their preparations for the party weeks ago, like designing the dishes and decorations, as well as choosing Christmas gifts.
As the party started, students entered the venue with the delicious food and gifts in their hands. After taking a group photo, everyone couldn't wait to taste their delicacy, which was followed by a few exciting games. The most anticipated moment of the party was the gift-exchanging session; all were so eager to receive their present, and were curious to see who would get their choice gift.
All students showed their gratitude to MPI for its kindness and care. They not only feel the Institute's meticulous support for their study, but also for their daily living. During the Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays, MPI will also arrange different activities for students, so that they will feel the warmth just as if they were at home.
