A Conceptual Framework for Quality Assured Teaching and Learning

My presentation will attempt to sketch what I think the academia could consider to be a conceptual framework or model for quality assured teaching and learning that incorporates the meaning, purpose and outcome of quality assurance. This framework does not provide all the answers but it opens up the space for greater reflection and experimentation with issues underlying the various aspects of quality assurance. As an integrated model for quality assurance, it will attempt to illuminate the different aspects of the respectable scholarship on quality assurance and education. It is hoped that it will provide a valuable substructure upon which the true nature of quality assurance emerges, and is practiced in higher education teaching and learning.
