New Era of Cooperation between MPI and Bell Cambridge

A close partner of Macao Polytechnic Institute for more than a decade, Bell Educational Trust Cambridge is an internationally recognised English language institution which has contributed greatly to English language education in Macao. Recently, Professor Lei Heong Iok, President of MPI, led a delegation to visit Bell Cambridge and received a warm welcome from Chief Executive Greg Hoile. Both parties looked back at the work done so far in facilitating the teaching of English in Macao, and subsequently reached consensus on future collaborative projects, marking a new era in English language education.

As Bell Cambridge celebrates its sixtieth anniversary, Chief Executive Greg Hoile eagerly welcomed the MPI delegation and expressed his wish to drive multi-faceted cooperation between Bell and MPI through this visit. Jim Kell, Bell’s Director of Education, introduced the institution’s latest global business development plans as well as new trends in English education in China. MPI’s President Professor Lei Heong Iok thanked Bell Educational Trust for the support throughout the years and took the opportunity to reach mutual agreements with the institution on various new projects. Professor Lei hoped that MPI-Bell Centre of English would continue providing world-class English language training to a large number of talented people who are now in demand in Macao, and who in turn would help Macao sustain its status as a world tourism and leisure centre.

Founded in 1955, Bell Educational Trust Cambridge U.K. is an international language education institution.
