  • Face-to-face teaching and learning will be resumed starting from 25 October 2021 [Post: 21/10/2021]

    Face-to-face teaching and learning for all MPI degree programmes will be resumed starting from 25 October 2021. Students please be prepared for this arrangement.
     
    According to the latest guidelines of the Education and Youth Development Bureau, starting from 25 October 2021, staff and students of higher education institutions in Macao will be required to show proof of having received at least one dose of vaccine or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 7 days, before entering teaching and learning venue. Therefore, students please observe the relevant guidelines of bureau, and comply with the related epidemic prevention measure.

Online teaching and learning will be conducted for all MPI degree programmes according to the class timetable starting from 8 October 2021 until further notice.   • Exemption from Work at Macao Polytechnic Institute from 5 to 7 October 2021 [Post: 05/10/2021]

In view of the latest epidemic development, to reduce the risk of epidemic propagation, according to Dispatch no. 110/CE/2021 of the Chief Executive, MPI's staff members are exempted from work from 5 to 7 October 2021.

As the present exemption is to reduce the risk of epidemic propagation, except in emergent or necessary situations, staff members who are exempted from work, shall stay at home and avoid going out in order to fulfil their obligations.

In cooperation with Macao's anti-pandemic measures, all MPI degree programmes will suspend online teaching and learning from 5 to 7 October 2021.   • Macao Polytechnic Institute Urges Students and Staff to Get Vaccinated ASAP [Post: 01/10/2021]

According to the guidelines of the Education and Youth Development Bureau, starting 25 October 2021, staff and students of higher education institutions in Macao will be required to show proof of having received at least one dose of vaccine or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 7 days, before entering their campuses.

In view of the current pandemic development, to safeguard the safety and health of the community, Macao Polytechnic Institute strongly urges all staff and students to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Currently, no prior appointments are needed to receive vaccines at any of the existing vaccination sites. Please visit one at your earliest convenience and get vaccinated.   • Government Information: Walk-in sampling will be accepted in all 31 general NAT stations (should there be no large crowd of scheduled people queuing outside a NAT station). The Macao Health Code of people who fail to perform NAT by 3:00 pm of 28 September will turn yellow. The public are urged to take NAT promptly. According to relevant regulations, this may lead to the possibility of denial to enter public venues, take public transportation and leave Macao. [Post: 27/09/2021]
