Lino Type Font Design Director, Japan/Creative Type Director of Monotype GmbH (Company with Limited Liability). He won two grand prizes at international type design competitions and currently resides in Germany. He developed typefaces in collaboration with the master type designers Prof. Hermann Zapf and Mr. Adrian Frutiger. He also supervised the development of Tazugane Gothic released in 2017, the company’s first Japanese type family designed by the Monotype Design Studio in Japan. He has authored books on typefaces and serves as a jury member in prestigious international typeface design competitions.
