The MPI Teaching Materials Development
Committee was established in 2007 to promote teaching quality
and teaching standards
at the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI), to regulate teaching
work, to develop teaching materials which meet the growing
needs of the Macao community and higher education and which
are congruent with MPI programmes and teaching, and to organize
the teaching materials development work for the degree programmes
of all the Schools of MPI and other Institute courses (English,
Computing, Mathematics, Putonghua and Cantonese). The MPI
Teaching Materials Development Committee is chaired by the
Vice-President
of the Institute, and includes members from all Schools of
MPI, the Academic Affairs Department, the Library, the Division
for Pedagogical Affairs, the Division for Research and Publications,
the English Language Teaching and Research Committee, the
Computer Teaching and Research Committee, and the Putonghua
Teaching
Standardization Co-ordination Group. The MPI Teaching Materials
Development Committee is itself sub-divided into 2 working
groups – The School Teaching Materials Development
Working Group and the Institute Teaching Materials Development
Working
Group. The School Teaching Materials Development Working
Group is responsible for organizing the teaching materials
development
work of the main courses of the Schools of MPI, while the
Institute Teaching Materials Development Working Group is
responsible
for organizing the teaching materials selection and approval
work of other Institute courses. |
