Orientation for Academic Year 2014/2015 -- Seminar on Career Planning
為加強新生對生涯規劃的認識，鼓勵新生及早在思想、行動上為將來的升學或就業作準備，並合理規劃大學時光，學生事務處於2014年8月29日主辦《生涯規劃專題講座》，邀請香港青年協會青年就業網絡的講者為一年級的學生闡述甚麼是「生涯規劃」、為何要生涯規劃、怎樣才能規劃好自己的人生？出席講座多為一年級學生，對如何展開生涯規劃很感興趣，並在講座上積極提問。
The Student Affairs Office organized a “Seminar on Career Planning” on 29th August 2014 with the aim of emphasising to first-year students the importance of career planning and to encourage them to start planning and to take action earlier rather than later, thus making the most of their time at MPI. A speaker from the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups - Youth Employment Network was invited to explain what career planning is, why it is needed and how it is done. Most of the participants were first-year students who used the opportunity to raise a lot of questions about their future career planning.
