Study Abroad Online Information Session
To provide students with comprehensive and up-to-date information on further study abroad, Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) Student Affairs Office organised the “Study Abroad Online Information Session” on 15th April, 2020. The online session introduced the educational systems, postgraduate programmes, admission requirements and application procedures of the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the information session was live-streamed. Student participants actively asked questions; the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
During the information session, students were generally concerned about whether the overseas admission policies of the above three countries would be changed due to the epidemic. Che, a year 3 student of E-Commerce, was concerned about the GMAT requirement regarding the master's degree study in the United States. A student majoring in Medical Laboratory Technology inquired about the admission requirements for medical studies at the Group of Eight universities in Australia and the career prospects after graduation.
Through this information session, the Student Affairs Office hopes that students can have a clearer direction for their further studies, so as to better prepare themselves for postgraduate application in the future.
