Macao Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association All-Rounders Scholarship

In order to commend and encourage students to take part in extra-curricular activities, social services, cultural and academic activities and to achieve an all-round development in ethical, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and cross-cultural aspects (the six core areas), the Institute is launching the “Macao Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association All-Rounders Scholarship”. Details of the scholarship are as follows:

Scholarship name: Macao Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association All-Rounders Scholarship.

Scholarship objective: To encourage students to achieve an all-round development in ethical, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and cross-cultural aspects.

Target recipients: Higher Diploma and Bachelor Degree students who actively participate in the six core areas.

Quota: Two per academic year.

Amount: MOP$5,000 each.

Application method: Download the “Macao Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association All-Rounders Scholarship” application form, complete and submit it to the Student Management Office (Room A119) along with all the documents stipulated in the form within the application period. (The actual application time will be announced in “News for Students”; applications after the deadline will not be accepted.)

Selection criteria: As per the criteria approved by the MPI Management Board (including the ethical, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic, cross-cultural aspects, awards received, cumulative GPA, scholarships received etc)

Selection mode:

8.1	The Student Affairs Office will examine each application as per the selection criteria;
8.2	Applicants will be ranked in order of scores achieved and the first two in the list will be awarded the scholarship;
8.3	The list of scholarship recipients will be forwarded to the MPI Management Board for approval.

Note:

Any other issues arising which are not specified here shall be subject to determination by the MPI Management Board.

*	Receipt of this scholarship does not exclude the possibility of the award of other scholarships/prizes.
