To attract and cultivate more Mainland sports talents, MPI has established the ‘Mainland Sports Talent’ and ‘Mainland Exchange Sports Talent’ Scholarships. Target students for the ‘Mainland Sports Talent Scholarship’ are secondary school students who have exhibited outstanding achievements in sport; the target students for the for ‘Mainland Exchange Sports Talent Scholarship’ are the 2^nd and 3^rd year students currently studying in Mainland sports colleges. Recipients of the scholarships will have their annual tuition and hostel fees waived and receive a monthly subsidy of MOP3, 000. If a recipient student’s performance conforms to the terms stipulated in the respective regulations, their scholarships will be renewed annually.
