| Scholarships for Master Degree Programmes

When can I apply for a Macao Polytechnic Institute Master’s Degree Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Scholarship’) |

Applications may be made during March and April. Interested parties should consult the student notices regarding exact dates and procedures. |

Can I apply for the Scholarship before receiving a university offer? |

Yes. |
| 3. |
In what way does the Scholarship support the recipient? |
| |
The Scholarship is payable in one or more instalments, covering the Master’s Degree programme tuition fees. |
| 4. |
Can the Scholarship be postponed for use in the following year? |
| |
The Scholarship should be used within the academic year for which it has been granted. Only in very exceptional situations and with prior approval by the Management Board can the Scholarship be used for the immediately following academic year. |

Can I apply for the Scholarship if I want to study in a non-English Speaking country like Japan? |
| |
Yes, as long as you apply to study on a full-time basis abroad (outside mainland China, HK, Macao & Taiwan). |

Can I receive other scholarships, awards or allowances while receiving the Scholarship? |
| |
The Scholarship will be withdrawn should applicants be receiving other scholarships, awards or allowances at the same time without prior approval of the Management Board. |

Can the programme and year of study be changed after receiving the Scholarship? |
| |
No. The Scholarship will be immediately withdrawn if the Master’s Degree plan of studies has been altered or the recipient does not use it within the time period for which it has been granted, unless prior approval by the Management Board has been obtained. |
