Instructions for Candidates in the Admission
Examination
1. Before the Examination
a)
Students must bring along their
I.D. cards and admission examination notice whenever they have
an examination.
b)
Students should arrive early and check their
seat numbers.
c)
Students are allowed to enter the examination
room within the first 30 minutes after the commencement of an
examination, however, the lost time will not be compensated.
And no students will be admitted into the examination room 30
minutes after the commencement.
d)
Please use pencil for multiple-choice session
in English and Mathematics papers. Students should use ball pens
for other examination paper (except drawing test).
2. Entry to Examination Room
a)
Students should not enter the
examination room until permitted to do so by an invigilator.
Inside the examination room, students are subject to the authority
of the invigilators and must act according to all the instructions
given by invigilators.
b)
Before entering the exam venue, students
must turn off all mobile phones and pagers.
3. During the Examination
a)
Students should pay attention
to any instructions which may be stated either on the cover page
of the examination paper or at the beginning of each question.
They should also listen carefully to the invigilator's announcements.
b)
Students must write their applicant number
on the front page of each answer booklet.
c)
Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited.
d)
Students wishing to use the wash rooms need
to get permission from an invigilator and sign on a report.
4. Collection of Scripts
During the last fifteen minutes of each examination
period, students must remain in their seats until they are told
to leave by the invigilators after collection of all answer scripts.
5. Typhoon
If typhoon signal No. 8 is lowered two hours
before the commencement of the proceeding examination session,
all examinations will be held as scheduled. In case typhoon signal
No. 8 is still hoisted, all examination session will be postponed
and to be announced later.
