Time flies. The three weeks oversea study program in Melbourne had come to an end and I have to go back to ordinary school life. In these three weeks I have learnt and experienced a lot of things which broadened my view towards the world, I lived in an unfamiliar city, met new people every day from different parts of the world and the most significant thing is that I made a group of close friends after this trip, we have similar interests and living styles which means we can rely on each other in that foreign country.

The first week in Melbourne was the most challenging week because I was a newcomer, I was not used to the transportation services in that city, I did not know the way to go school and back home, I was really afraid that I would get lost especially when my mobile phone was running out of battery, in this case, I would not able to use the Apple Map to find my way back. However, it was exciting when I found out that there were a lot of sport activities that I could not try when I am in Macau like skiing and skydiving. I spent the first weekend in Melbourne going to these extreme sports, although my parents and some of my friends had tried to persuade me to give up trying these sports, I would regret it if I listened to them.

Furthermore, the sceneries in the countryside of Melbourne are really amazing. The beaches are as clear as glass; all the living creatures in the sea can be seen very clearly just by looking down to the beaches. It was very comfortable to sit down on the beach and wait for the sunset. After sunset, I even could see the little penguins were coming back home.

In addition, through the Business English study program that was organized by Monash College, I gained a lot of useful communication skills and techniques. This knowledge will help me to develop a better social network with different people and working environment. Besides, the two company visits were included in this program, so we were lucky to be invited to the CPA Australia Company and Ford. During the visit, the successful people gave their speech to share their road to success; in their sharing we learnt something from their mistake in order to repeat their mistakes.

Last but not the least; I feel as though I have changed a little bit after I came back from Australia. I am becoming more independent and better with time management. I learnt how to take care of myself in foreign country. Aside from the people I met in the GPP program, I also have joined a group that is also from Macau who are studying for their bachelor degree in different universities in Melbourne. They are really nice and helpful. They showed us the landmarks and local food in Melbourne. As well as helped we get used to the culture and environment in that country. This trip to Melbourne will become one of the most memorable journeys in my heart.
