I am so glad that I could take part in this overseas study program, which was a really great time that we had been together. We were strangers at the beginning, but within these two weeks, we studied and travelled together. As time went on, we knew each other and have since become good friends.

First of all, I was surprised I could participate in this program, because I was not good at study and I thought I am not the best student that to be selected joining this program by the GPA and those 500 words writing. Secondly, that was the first time I travelled in an English speaking country. During the program, I lived with an Australian family who were very gentle and kind, treating me very well. And I did enjoy living with them. Besides, I had to speak English all the time. Although that was very hard, it also is the most useful and direct way for me to improve English and recognize my English level. Thirdly, through the period, I travelled in Brisbane, experiencing Australian culture, understanding Queensland’s civilization; all the activities were very enjoyable. While I was studying there, I could feel the real university life, and that is also what I really want. I could sit on the grass and swim in aquatic center, our daily routine could be done within the campus, but I cannot do it in the university here.

Actually, I didn’t feel happy at all when I first arrived there, because I got fined by bringing a souvenir for my home stay family which was a small package of pork. However I recovered very quickly, since all the people treated me very well, especially our leader - Diana, she took care of us very carefully. In addition, my home stay family, they treated me like their son.  I still remember on the first day I arrived there, they drove me to everywhere, introduced so many different places to me. After that, we went shopping. They were very lovely parents and they would like to talk to me at least once a day, mostly during the dinner period. If there was anything they could help, they would like to do it for me. Furthermore, in my school life, teacher - Rio was so funny, and he has been Macao twice. During the class, we talked a lot and felt excited. Despite this, I think one thing that could be improved; the course could be more challenging. In some ways, it was a little bit easy for us.

In summary, I really appreciate this very good opportunity to participate in it. After I came back to Macao Polytechnic Institute, I had to focus on study, working hard for master degree. Besides, I am going to take my first TOFEL test within year 3. All I want is to go straight ahead and make my dream come true. Further information, I just received a message, I successfully applied for a scholarship of the government. Now, I miss the brilliant time we were gathering and studying. I hope that one day we could do it again.
