This programme prepares nurses for general and specialist practice roles in a range of clinical areas. It enables development of advanced practice roles such as leadership skills to plan, implement and coordinate and evaluate health care as well as formulate policy for a diverse and multicultural society. Graduates are employed in a wide range of general and specialist clinical, educational and health care environments in senior positions and contribute to the health of individuals, families and communities, in addition to the development of the profession.

Part-time (on the job)

Students may complete the programme through two pathways (see the Study Plan below), which provide flexibility, in order to meet individual needs. Most units are undertaken using a combination to face-to-face teaching and independent study with students being provided with comprehensive programme materials for each unit.
