Being one of the higher educational institutions in Macao, the Institute strongly believes in nurturing talented students for a brighter future. With this aim and the strong support from the Government of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), the Institute has built up a team of quality academic staff and has consistently created and upgraded programmes and courses to meet the demands of the contemporary society.

The Institute presently offers a variety of degree programmes and short-term courses tailored to students locally and from abroad. Since 2001, the Institute has been actively recruiting students not only from the local territory, but also from the 21 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of mainland China under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.

After completing a 3-year higher diploma course, students can progress to the supplementary fourth year programme and are awarded a bachelor’s degree upon successful completion of course requirements. At present, we have 2700 full time students enroled on degree programmes. Each year, over 20,000 participants attend our professional training courses on a wide range of subjects. >>
