WARWICK’S APPROACH TO EMBEDDING A CULTURE OF TEACHING EXCELLENCE BASED ON EVIDENCE
Ms Maureen McLaughlin (Director of Education Policy & Quality, University of Warwick, United Kingdom)
英國華威大學教育政策與質量總監
Abstract

Prompted in part but not wholly led by the recent development and implementation of the Teaching Excellence Framework in UK Higher Education, the University of Warwick has embraced the key principles of TEF and embedded them within our own approach to enhancing teaching and learning at the University of Warwick. This approach is data-informed but holistic in its scope, in that it takes full account not just our learning from statistical data but also the views of key external stakeholders and, most importantly, our students at all levels. The conversations we have with our academic departments are transparent and supportive: we hold ourselves to account but look for collaborative solutions to address gaps and enhance the student experience.
