The program
admits high school graduates (Grade 12 or equivalent level)
with science background. The first and second year of the
program is comprised of basic and core subjects supplemented
with innovative experiments and as the program is designed
for students’ professional career, so students will
be assigned to clinical placement in hospitals or related
institutions.
On the other hand, the program is also
designed for academic future of the students. They must
pass strict theoretical, as well as practical requirements.
There are two specialties in this area: the Medical
Laboratory Science and Pharmacy. Students can choose
one of these two special areas by their interests.
Upon completion of this program, graduates
are conferred with a “higher diploma” degree
and become qualified laboratory and pharmacy technicians
(professional registration in the Macao government). Furthermore,
students can also apply for our bachelor degree for further
studies. |
