The course aims to train students to be equipped with comprehensive knowledge and skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating in both Chinese and English. Students will not only learn the basic skills and techniques in the practice of translation, but they will also acquire a basic understanding of translation theories. The programme also offers a variety of courses that will broaden our students’ knowledge of humanities, and provide them with the basic training necessary for performing oral interpretation and written translation from Chinese to English and vice versa.
