Online “Macao Cultural Heritage Specialist Training” leads audience to experience the multi-culture of Macao.

Due to the pandemic development, Macao Polytechnic Institute, which is eminent in the teaching and research of Macao humanities and social science, offers free online “Macao Cultural Heritage Specialist Training” to the public. It can provide learning opportunities to all the Macao citizens and enhance the professionalism and competitiveness of the employees in the recreation and cultural creative industries, tourism and all walks of life.

The online lectures of “Macao Cultural Heritage Specialist Training” are jointly offered by the history experts, Professor Lam Fat Iam, who is the acting Director of the School of Humanities and Social Science of Macao Polytechnic Institute, together with several senior professors. This course focuses on the local cultural history, conversations with the celebrities of Macao history, a tour to the Macao intangible cultural heritage, an experience of Macao charity, the view of the past sea shore, and Macao museums.  The research output of Macao Polytechnic Institute is fruitful in the area of culture and history, especially the intangible cultural heritage of Macao. Therefore, free online training is offered to the general public so that Macao citizens can better equip themselves for the future during the pandemic.

Macao Polytechnic Institute cordially invites all the employees from the recreation and cultural creative industries, tourist guides, teachers and students and others who are interested to join. This course includes five sessions, which will take place on every Monday and Thursday at 8:00p.m. and the first session begins on 20^th April, 2020.
