In the “Evaluation Report of 2015 Chinese University Rankings” released by the China University Alumni Association (CUAA), announcing the latest 2015 Chinese Universities Rankings, Star Ratings of Universities in the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, Chinese Universities Rankings by Category, Chinese Universities Rankings by Outstanding Alumni and Chinese Universities Rankings by Scientific Contributions, MPI continues to rank among 4 star universities in China and its ranking as one of the high quality universities in China suggests recognition of its teaching quality.

Recently, the CUAA released the latest 2015 Chinese Universities Rankings, with Peking University, for the eighth time, topping the list with the reputation of the 2015 Best Chinese University, while Tsinghua University and Fudan University ranked 2^nd and 3^rd respectively.

In order to provide information on teaching quality and competence of colleges and universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to parents and students who are taking university entrance exams from the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, the CUAA announced the 2015 Rankings of Universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The Rankings are an authoritative guide to choosing universities in the three regions for Chinese students who will be taking the 2015 National Higher Education Entrance Examination (NCEE) for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and international students. In the 2015 Rankings of Universities in Taiwan, the National Taiwan University ranked top becoming the 2015 Best University in Taiwan,  while the University of Hong Kong topped the list of 2015 Rankings of Universities in Hong Kong, therefore being considered the 2015 Best University in Hong Kong. MPI achieved 2nd place in the 2015 Rankings of Universities in Macao, with its teaching quality highly recognised.

In the 2015 Rankings of Universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, MPI is rated as a 4 Star University in China (★★★★) which is a rating for universities of high quality in China. This refers to research and professional universities with strong and comprehensive competence and top teaching quality in the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. For NCEE candidates who have aspirations to become qualified personnel in the future, 4 star universities are often their first choice which makes the universities’ admissions even more competitive. Universities such as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the City University of Hong Kong, Tamkang University, Tunghai University, the Sun Yat-sen University, the Chung Cheng University, the Taiwan Normal University, the Dong Hwa University and the Taiwan Sport University are all rated as 4 Star Chinese Universities and becoming 2015 high quality Chinese universities.
