Ms Ada Wong Ying-kay, JP
Director, Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture (HKICC)
Ms Ada Wong currently is Member of Consultation Panel, West Kowloon Cultural District, Justice of the Peace (JP) and solicitor. She had been District Councillor and Chairperson of Wan Chai District Council to promote community development and conservation of traditional buildings. The Blue House Cluster preservation is one example.
In 2006, She founded HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity (High School) and she currently serves as the Supervisor. In 2010, she launched the Make A Difference (MaD) Annual Meeting to attract over thousand next generation to participate. In 2012, she has created Good Lab, in order to encourage young people to promote social innovation though entrepreneurship.
Ms Ada Wong Ying-kay, who will share her experience in promoting creative education and social innovation in Hong Kong, “Creativity for Good” is her theme for promoting social innovation in recent years. Creativity is not only used to increase economic output but also to create social welfare. Young people can cultivate entrepreneurship, with entrepreneurial attitude to promote social progress to be good. |
