The institute's research fund allocation is discussed by
the Research Committee, and approved by the Management Board. Division
for Research and Publication is responsible for secretarial jobs related
to the Research Committee. |
| Functions of the Research Committee include: |
| 1. Suggest strategies of and guidelines for research in MPI. |
| 2. Assess applications for research grant, shortlist projects to be approved and suggest the amounts of grant. |
| 3. Coordinate supervision of progress of research projects. |
| 4. Assess and endorse research achievements. |
| 5. Review research management and make suggestions for refinement of policies. |
