| TKT Examination & Preparation Course |
The MPI-Bell Centre of English is pleased to announce that teachers of English in Macau can
now receive a substantial government subsidy for the TKT Examination & Preparation Course provided by
the Centre. The MPI-Bell Centre of English is now the testing centre for The Cambridge ESOL Teaching
Knowledge Test in Macao. As a result we would like to offer a Teaching Knowledge Test preparation
course to be taught by qualified and experienced teacher-trainers. This professional development
course is designed for teachers who are seeking additional qualifications in the near future. The

combines examination preparation aimed at developing relevant test-taking strategies for the TKT, with overall teacher development and professional growth. The Teaching Knowledge Test is designed for easy access and consists entirely of multiple-choice questions. No writing is required. |

| Course description |
|
Once the course is completed, all participants will take the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT). The TKT test, from Cambridge ESOL, is ideal for all English teachers, whatever their background and teaching experience. The test will increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners. This flexible and accessible award will help teachers to understand:

| There is no Pass/Fail. Every candidate receives a certificate from CambridgeESOL that is internationally
recognized.

All candidates who achieve 75% attendance and hold Macau permanent resident ID will
receive a government subsidy of MOP2,200 (Spring term) or MOP2,000 (Summer term). However, if
you are taking the same course provided by the same organizer (MPI-Bell) repeatedly, or you are
attending more than one course that are subsidized by government at the same time, this subsidy
is not applicable to you.

MPI-Bell provides
training courses for primary, secondary and tertiary
teachers of English who would like to become better
at their job. Since 2003, we have worked with teachers
across Guangdong Province, with the British Council
on its Primary English Teacher-Training (PETT)
programme, and with teachers from the Xinjiang
Uygur Autonomous Region. Within Macao, we have
